Vero Beach, FL – The Treasure Coast Marine Flea Market is gearing up to welcome boaters, anglers, and families to the Indian River Fairgrounds on October 10-11, 2026, with a full slate of free seminars and a hands-on casting competition. Sponsored by Captain Lee Marine Services, the seminar series will run both days of the event, offering something for every skill level, from first-time boaters to seasoned offshore anglers.
Each day kicks off at 10:00 AM with a Boating & Fishing Open Q&A, giving attendees the chance to ask local experts anything on their mind. The schedule continues throughout the day with sessions tailored for the whole family, including a Kid's Fishing Clinic with Captain Lee at 11:00 AM, perfect for introducing younger visitors to the sport.
For those looking to maintain or upgrade their own vessel, the afternoon lineup dives into hands-on boat care. At 12:00 PM, a Fiberglass Repair Masterclass covers DIY hull fixes, followed by The Gelcoat Solution at 1:00 PM, where attendees can learn how to match, mix, and repair scratches like a professional. Knot Tying & Rigging rounds out the early afternoon at 2:00 PM, walking boaters through the essential knots every vessel owner should know.
The day wraps up with two sessions geared toward serious boating and fishing enthusiasts. Pro Boat Refinishing at 3:00 PM shares three decades of secrets for achieving a flawless finish, while Advanced Offshore Tactics at 4:00 PM dives into kite fishing and downrigger techniques for anglers ready to take their offshore game to the next level.
Beyond the seminars, attendees can put their skills to the test at the Casting for Accuracy Challenge, sponsored by Hook & Tackle and Captain Lee Marine Services. Participants are invited to bring their own rod and reel and take on a fun, challenging casting course, with prizes and giveaways up for grabs. The casting course is open to all skill levels, making it an ideal activity for families and friends attending the market together.
With free educational programming paired with the event's marketplace of marine vendors, fresh seafood, and boat sales, the Treasure Coast Marine Flea Market continues to offer a full weekend experience for anyone who loves life on the water.
